Olympia Aldersey is an Australian Junior World and Youth Olympic rower from Adelaide.〔(Torrens Rowing Club News )〕 In 2010 in her 1st year of international competition Aldersey won a bronze medal at the Junior Worlds and Silver at the Youth Olympics with fellow South Australian Emma Basher.〔(Aldersey and Basher Silver - Singapore 2010 )〕 Aldersey currently rows for Adelaide Rowing Club〔 Adelaide Rowing Club.〕 She competed in the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival〔(2009 AYOF )〕 where she won gold in the women's Coxless Pair and Eight and Silver in the Coxless Four.〔(2009 Australian Youth Cup Regatta )〕 Aldersey was named Olympia by her parents as she was born during the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.〔 In 2011, she graduated from St Peter's Girls School. Olympia now attends the University of Adelaide, South Australia.
